One of Wicklow’s most famous residents, Sammy the Seal is a grey seal and viral star who has been entertaining visitors and locals with his antics since 2012.
Seemingly on an endless quest for fish, Sammy the Seal waits patiently to be fed by the staff of The Fishman every day.
Though Sammy might look cuddly, people are warned to keep a safe distance from him if he hops onto the Quay as he can be aggressive to humans.
Sammy does not yet own a phone.
