The Castletimon Heritage Trail is a fascinatingly rich piece of Irish history. A mile from Brittas Bay beach, this trail takes you through an area of ancient heritage, where there is evidence of Bronze age settlements, and standing stones which pre date the pyramids, You can also visit an Ogham stone dating back to the 4th century, a graveyard from the 17th century, and an 18th century mill.
